In 2010 Australian International Motor Show Toyota introduced the Toyota FT-86G Sports Concept. As described the concept car, the production model is the successor to the spiritual heritage for sports car that has a name such as Toyota Supra and MR2.
Toyota FT-86G is the second concept expressed by Toyota last year pointing to a next-generation production coupe sports. He has obtained for the performance and styling tweaks that make it more streamlined and more aggressively than the Toyota FT-86 concept shown at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show.
Looks more sharply from the front end completely redesigned incorporating larger air intake to the intercooler looks, and vented cap. At the rear, a large carbon fiber wing, diffuser and large twin exhausts contribute to edgier styling.
Toyota FT-86G Sports Concept Bridgestone rubber sat on a low-profile 19-inch – 245/40 front and 275/35 at the rear, while the Recaro sports seats complete the ‘G’ conversion of dynamic four-seater. Basic concept remains the classic sports car with a front-mounted 2.0-liter engine – now boosted with turbo – rear-wheel drive via six-speed manual transmission.
