Peugeot Design Competition

The 5th Peugeot Design Competition closed back in 2nd Oct. This time the theme was “Imagine the Peugeot of the future World Megalopolis”. Ofcourse the designs were all concept-based rather than commercial. The winners have been announced and this is what they came up with:
1st Prize, Winner: Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar – 25 years old – Colombia (below)
Car design: Peugeot RD Concept

This design is basically a 3-wheel scooter with (obviously) the integrated comfort. It is supposed to give the pleasure of driving a saloon. This is a single seater vehicle with an environment friendly electric engine.
2nd Prize, Winner: Emre Yazici – 45 years old – Turkey (below)
Car design: Peugeot Ego Concept

The Ego is firstly a complete environment friendly vehicle. It has two wheels but maintains a perfect balance. Not to mention, this vehicle is extremely comfortable. Considering the super-compact size of Ego, parking cannot be easier that this.
3rd Prize, Winner: Lou Ke - 22 yers old – China (below)
Car design: Peugeot OXO Concept

OXO’s speciality? It has a highly creative wheel system letting the car move even sideways! Unlike the other winner (above), OXO is a two seater car. Using the “Peugeot Phone” console, the driver can control the vehicle manually or in automatic.
